Howdy! The name’s Kaylin. I’m a photographer of 16 years and despite being somewhat of a jack of all trades regarding the arts, nothing can hold a candle to my love for photography. Even in my single digits I had a deep fascination with things of an archival nature, spending hours flipping through family photo albums and watching home videos on our clunky VHS player. I would often beg to use my brother’s camcorder, my dad’s Canon, or chase my family around with a disposable camera.
Not much has changed. When I’m not on the clock, I’m immersed in a world of emulsions and color, snapping photos of my friends and family on just about any photography format that I can get my hands on: Digital, Polaroids, 35mm film, medium format, and crummy old point-and-shoot cameras from 1999-2001.
If you're the type of person who falls in love with genuine moments, unprovoked expressions of love, and the winsomely messy way life breathes itself into us, then I think we'll make the perfect team. I am not here to capture stiff, over-processed moments. If that's what you're looking for, we might not be the best fit.
